Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our policy regarding refunds and cancellations for items purchased or listed on Phila.in.

At Phila.in, we strive to ensure a fair and transparent process for all transactions. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds and cancellations are handled.

For Buyers

Cancellations:

Once a bid is placed and an auction is won, the purchase is considered binding. Cancellations of successful bids are generally not permitted unless under exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Significant misrepresentation of the item by the seller (proven with evidence).
  • Non-delivery of the item by the seller within the stipulated timeframe.

Requests for cancellation under such circumstances must be raised with Phila.in support within 48 hours of discovering the issue or expected delivery date.

Refunds:

Refunds for purchased items will be considered under the following conditions:

  • The item received is significantly not as described in the auction listing (e.g., wrong item, severe undisclosed damage, proven counterfeit). Buyers must provide clear evidence.
  • The item was damaged during transit due to improper packaging by the seller (photographic evidence required).
  • The seller fails to ship the item after payment confirmation.

To request a refund, buyers must contact Phila.in support within 7 days of receiving the item (or expected delivery date for non-receipt). We may require the item to be returned to the seller (at buyer's or seller's expense, depending on the case) before a refund is processed. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 7-10 business days after approval.

For Sellers

Auction Cancellations:

Sellers may request to cancel an active auction listing only under very exceptional circumstances and before any bids are placed. If bids have been placed, cancellation is generally not permitted to maintain fairness to bidders.

Phila.in reserves the right to cancel any auction that violates our listing policies or terms of service.

Non-Payment by Buyer:

If a buyer wins an auction but fails to make payment within the specified timeframe, the seller should report this to Phila.in. We will investigate and may take action against the buyer, which could include account suspension. The seller may then be permitted to relist the item or offer it to the next highest bidder, if applicable.

Dispute Resolution

Phila.in encourages buyers and sellers to communicate directly to resolve any issues. If a resolution cannot be reached, Phila.in may step in to mediate the dispute. Our decision in such cases will be final.
